Local Scenery: We are situated in an enviable position, just 1.5 miles from picturesque Port Launay and even closer to the first lock gates on the Brest to Nantes canal, where the slow flowing river Aulne meets the sea. Sit outside the local bar/restaurant and watch the boats lock in and out.

Chateaulin, with it's tree lined quays is a busy market town with shops to cater for every need, sit outside one of the pavement cafes and watch the world go by.

The wide, sandy, uncrowded beaches and rocky coves are 12 miles away. Also nearby are the interesting towns of Douarnenez with its old port and extensive ship museum, Quimper, famous for its pottery, fine gothic Cathedral and cosmopolitan atmosphere, as well as the many charming villages such as medieval Locronon, Le Faou.
